At Communitas, we believe that our resources should be designed to serve people – not the other way around. Our goal is to invest in infrastructure that adds value to our services and to our community. In Abbotsford, we have a unique opportunity to build two new homes that will support the people we serve, creating spaces that are specifically designed to meet their needs.

New Homes Under Construction
Communitas’ homes provide full-time home living for people we serve. Every Communitas home is exactly that: the home of the people who live there. We are intentional about creating an intimate, family setting where people are treated with respect and dignity.
Family members are an integral part of a person’s life and wherever possible, they are included in decisions made to meet the unique needs of that person. People experience life as fully as possible and are encouraged to participate within their home and in their community to the best of their abilities.
We are working with our partners at Community Living BC to fund ongoing operating costs of these services. It is the responsibility of Communitas to undertake the development and building costs of this project.
