What is Adult Respite?
Respite care gives people who have developmental disabiltiies an opportunity to participate in a wide range of experiences that promote growth and development. Relationships with people outside the family unit create a sense of belonging in the greater community. The opportunity to experience activities and new environments help build self-confidence.
Who is Adult Respite for?
Adult Respite Care is for adults living with a developmental disability and is accessed by referral from Community Living BC (CLBC)
